The Fashion Tag

Tag time, and this time it's a fashion tag. I am definetely not a fashion girl. Partly because of my size and the fact that I barely can find pretty clothes in my size - second because if I find pretty clothes in my size they tend to be too expensive for me to buy. Sucks big time.
However, if not for my body size and the clothes price I quite like fashion. So here we go.

1. How would you describe your style? I can't settle on a specific style. I have days where I love the grunge style and then days where I love girly. I am not really able to say which one is my style because it varies.
2.What are your wardrobe staples? A black skater dress. It's a versatile item that can be whatever you want it to when you just change the accesories.
3.Most expensive item in your closet? It's the dress I wore this post. It was about £50. Doesn't sound too expensive, but I only tend to spend about £15 for one item so this is my most expensive item in my closet.
4.Most wanted item? A velvet dress. I've wanted one for ages and finally saw it in New Look before christmas. It went directly on my wishlist. It was sold out before my parents had the chance to buy it. /:
5.Favorite designer? I am not really into designers so I can't answer this question.
6. How much do you spend on clothes? Not alot. As mentioned in 3.
7.What are your favorite places to shop? If I had the money it would be modcloth.com. I love their clothes. But since I don't it's Primark in the UK or online shopping in either asos.com or newlook.com.
8.Favorite fragrance? Marc Jacobs - Daisy and Lancome - Touch of Pink. I also love Chanel - Chance.
9.Whats your favorite way to do your hair? At the moment it is in a plain bun, but normally it's loose.
10.What is your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear? Dress & leggins. It is pretty much the only thing I wear.
11.One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay: I want creepers to stay. Haha, I think they are cute. Although I don't own any and many will disagree.

Another tag while I am gone. Here we go.

1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?
Lipstick, a nice lipstick always makes me feel like a millions dollar baby. Colour doesn't matter, there's just something about the silky feeling that lipstick gives you.

2. What is your skincare secret? / A passed down skin care tip:
Let your skin breather, and honey with oatmeal as a mask once in a while.

3. Share your hair care secret?
Hold it under cold water just before leaving the shower, it adds shine.

4. What is your biggest diet rule?
Not too much fat. I've cut down on the fat, still need to cut down on carb.

5. Any workout tips?
Just get going * Note to self *

6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
Lacoste - Touch of pink, my all time favourite.

7. Show us a clothing item of yours which always turns heads
I have none. /:

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewellery?
The one I got for my Confirmation and some which are passed down from my family.


9. Who is your style crush?
Hayley William. She wears what she wants.

10. Tell us something we don't know about you.
I broke my leg and had three screws inserted.

Blush or Bronzer: Blush, makes you look more alive. I don't think I could live without bronzer though. :p

Lip Gloss or Lipstick: Lipstick, a lipgloss is just too ...glossy... and sticky. I couldn't live without lipstick.
Eye liner or Mascara: Mascara - my lashes are blond.
Foundation or Concealer: Concealer, I have very bad under eye cirkles.
Neutral or Color eye shadow: Neutral, fits every occation.
Pressed or Loose eye shadows: Pressed, loose is too messy.
Brushes or Sponges: Brushes, all the way.

NAILS:
OPI or China Glaze: OPI, I've never tried China Glaze though.
Long or Short: Short, long nails are kinda scary.
Acrylic or Natural: Natural, why pay for nails?
Brights or Darks: Hard one, hard one. Darks, fits every occasion.
Flower or no Flower: Flower. No Flower, arrgh. No Flower.

BODY:
Perfume or Body Splash: Perfume, due to the cute bottles. Body splash is what I'd use on a daily basis though.
Lotion or Body Butter: Lotion, body butters are too rich for the summer.  
Body wash or Soap: Body Wash, I don't know why.
Lush or other bath company: Lush.

FASHION:
Jeans or Sweat Pants: Sweat Pants, can't find jeans that fit my fat ass.
long sleeve or short: Long Sleeve, I don't wear short sleeve shirts. I don't like my arms.

flip flops or sandals: Sandals, my toes hurt when wearing flip flops.

studs or dangly earrings: Studs, don't like the weight on my ears.

Tag: Why do you wear makeup?

Sammi from beautycrush and Louise from sprinkleofglitter made a wonderful and fun tag and shared it with us on youtube - video above - and I thought I'd answer it. So here we go.

1. When you began?:
I started at the age of thirteen, with eyeliner only. It looked horrible I tell you. No mascara what so ever. I stopped wearing it for years and started again at the age of fifteen. With mascara and eyeliner this time. Foundation wasn't really on my list of important items, and I am not quite sure if I even knew there was something called foundation and concealer back then. Haha


2. How do you feel without makeup?
I feel free. I don't have to wear makeup everyday, I like to wake up late and I treasure every second I can sleep longer in the morning. I don't think it's necessary for me to wear any while in school. I do wear mascara often though, because my lashes are blond and barely visible.

3. What do you like about makeup?
Makeup can enhance your beauty. You can make your eyes look bigger, your lips more plumb or your skintone even, which is great. It gives you a whole new body feeling and makes you more confident. It's fun, you can experiment with your look and yourself and helps you figure out who you are, also, it's fun.

That's about the product I could name as Holy-gail item. I do think though, that a nice brown eyeshadow and mascara are a must have.
