The Fashion Tag

Tag time, and this time it's a fashion tag. I am definetely not a fashion girl. Partly because of my size and the fact that I barely can find pretty clothes in my size - second because if I find pretty clothes in my size they tend to be too expensive for me to buy. Sucks big time.
However, if not for my body size and the clothes price I quite like fashion. So here we go.

1. How would you describe your style? I can't settle on a specific style. I have days where I love the grunge style and then days where I love girly. I am not really able to say which one is my style because it varies.
2.What are your wardrobe staples? A black skater dress. It's a versatile item that can be whatever you want it to when you just change the accesories.
3.Most expensive item in your closet? It's the dress I wore this post. It was about £50. Doesn't sound too expensive, but I only tend to spend about £15 for one item so this is my most expensive item in my closet.
4.Most wanted item? A velvet dress. I've wanted one for ages and finally saw it in New Look before christmas. It went directly on my wishlist. It was sold out before my parents had the chance to buy it. /:
5.Favorite designer? I am not really into designers so I can't answer this question.
6. How much do you spend on clothes? Not alot. As mentioned in 3.
7.What are your favorite places to shop? If I had the money it would be modcloth.com. I love their clothes. But since I don't it's Primark in the UK or online shopping in either asos.com or newlook.com.
8.Favorite fragrance? Marc Jacobs - Daisy and Lancome - Touch of Pink. I also love Chanel - Chance.
9.Whats your favorite way to do your hair? At the moment it is in a plain bun, but normally it's loose.
10.What is your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear? Dress & leggins. It is pretty much the only thing I wear.
11.One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay: I want creepers to stay. Haha, I think they are cute. Although I don't own any and many will disagree.

you better watch out.

you better watch out.

Winter is coming and I am excited. What is better than snow, a cup of tea and lots of clothes. Nothing. I love the look of layering, thick socks and winter accesories.

Are you looking forward to winter?

Back to school #5

...

I do think that this outfit is too basic for some people on their very first day at a new school, but why not? It's fun, shows your curves and it is very layed back.

I love the colour mint, and I absolutely love the tank. I think this outfit is quite a funny combi, but a good one in my eyes.

Is it good in yours as well?

I love high waisted jeans, and high waisted shorts are even better. Now, I'd never personally wear the high waisted shorts, but only because I don't have the figure to wear it. I think it's nice to be cassual in school, which this outfit is. But still it looks like you've tried to make something with yoursself.

What is you opinion? Do you like it?

Todays outfit is a bit more girly, but still fun. I love to add details with tights and leggings. It isn't in your face, but it's  still there.

What do you say, would you wear this kind of outfit on your first day of school?

Back to School

I started in school 2 weeks ago, but I know alot of people still have their first day ahead. In the next week, I'll post a back to school outfit. Now, in my opinion you shouldn't wear too much jewellery. It's nice to be casual and not too glammed up. I don't want to wear a look I can't maintain throughout the year. I love my sleep too much, and finding jewellery, which I know I'll just remove during the day, is just not what I want to do in the morning. :p I wish I had the money to go buy the clothes and show it to you on pictures, but I don't. Haha. I hope you can take it.

Do you like the outfit and would you wear something like it on your first day of school?

One Love, One Life.

We have a Oscar inspired party at our school in four days. I tried on my outfit, and wanted to experience with makeup. Now, I won't wear the makeup shown, at the party. But just because I have to work in the kitchen and it would end up smearing. The pictures are a bit out of focus, I had to make them by myself. And I will wear a cardigan because I don't like my arms. They look way too fat.

Dress: Asos

Eyeshadow: all from coastal scents 88 pallete. Mascara: The Body Shop

The dress is old, I bought it when I was in 9th grade and I am now in 13th grade. However, it was the only dress I had that could go under the category 'oscars'.

Do I look okay, or not?

Yes or No?: Kigu.

Have you heard of Kigu? I've wanted one for quite a while now, but I am afraid to buy one because of my fat ass. Would be sad to buy one and find out I can't squezze myself into it. I therefore hope to stumble upon a shop while in london in a month. Sound like a plan right? They look so comfy, but still fun. I wouldn't wear them to school though. Haha. They retail for about £40, but it varies. I know they are not everyone's cup of tea, but I love them.

But what is your opinion, is a yes or no?

Footprints in the sand

..

Top
Splendid top, $65
Dorothy Perkins skirt, $21
Mystique sandals, €126
Clutch, £7
Miss Selfridge earrings, £3.25
Bracelet, £7

I have been more or less obsessed with maxi skirts and dresses. They make give your outfit a bit of a bohemian touch and maxi's are in at the moment. They are though hard to style, and even harder when you're on the curvier side of the scale, but if you style it good, it should be no problem. This maxi skirt from Dorothy Perkins is beautiful and girly and the prettiest I've seen in a long long time.

Do you wear maxi skirts or dresses? How do you style it?
