Review: Ambrosia by Lush

Actually, this product is for men and their faces. I am obvoiusly not a man and I do not have to shave off any hairs on my face. (other than my eyebrows but no shaving cream is used there, haha)
Lush's website describes the product as followed:

Honey helps soothe the skin and oat milk helps cool it and reduce inflammation. Linseed mucilage softens the skin, whilst jojoba oil and cocoa butter moisturise the skin and help provide a slight barrier for the skin. Together they lightly soften the bristle, allowing the blade to work easily. We’ve also included chamomile essential oil and marigold oil to calm the skin and help with any little abrasions.Ambrosia helps avoid soreness, redness and razor rash – leaving men looking great and feeling inviting to the touch. (Lots of girls use this too, but we like to let them think it is exclusive to them!)Can be used for shaving without water – so really handy for festivals, travelling, or anywhere where access to water is limited.  Just shave with a good layer of Ambrosia and then wipe your face of any excess.

First, the smell is not my cup of tea. It smells artificial when applying it, as soon as it i off, a hue of odour lingers but nothing overwhelming. I use very little handfull for the whole of my leg (and my leg is BIG), rub it in (it doesn't foam) shave and take off any excess with a paper towel.
It does clogg your razor and I find it difficult to remove it from the razor, even under running water. It does however leave your skin soft and hair free (well, hair free is due to the razor, but you get what I mean)
The price £4.74 for 100g is good, since it does last a very long time.

All in all, I wouldn't buy this one again. The clogging of the razor is something that I can't handle, shaving takes forever anyway, but I do think that it's worth its money and if you can handle the clogging and the smell, then this is definetely a go to.
I'd recommend you to go to a lush store and ask for a sample if possible and then just give it a try.

Have you tried Ambrosia?
